So far the cheapest flight from New York City to Miami

So far, the cheapest flight from NYC to Fort Lauderdale is through Spirit Airways. I came across $39 without tax one way. However, they charge a lot for carry ons ($20ish)and check in baggage ($30 for the first 2 and then $80 for the 3rd). My flight is in a couple of days. I will post how the flight experience was once I reach FL.
